Full Circle sells thoughtfully designed, attractive, and environmentally sustainable household goods, many made with recycled materials and plant-based materials.Their products do really well on R&R’s sustainability review criteria (1= Earth is sad, 5= Earth is happy):
- Environmental Sustainability: 4 – Made from recycled fibers, reusable, a superior option to less sustainable materials (like paper towels)
- Disposal Impact: 2 – Not clear what material its made of, can’t tell if recyclable or compostable.
- Quality/Price: 4 – Very good, still going strong after a year of testing.
- Social Responsibility: 3 – Full Circle is a B Corp and has an innovative charity partnership to reuse its shipping boxes (more below)
We subjected a bunch of Full Circle products to a year of testing. They passed with flying colors!We especially like their Super Absorbent Cleaning Clothes since we are partial to products with recycled material. Made from 95% post-production recycled fibers, you can divert a small amount of cloth from the landfill. Plus, you can divert a much bigger amount of paper towels from the landfill by relying on this reusable cloth.We use it for spills and wiping down the counter, along with a set of Full Circle’s Dusting Cloths.If you require your wiping rags to be pristine in color, this is not your product. After a year of cleaning our white cloth is definitely more of a light gray. Ideally, this cloth would be a darker color, but Full Circle only sells them in white or white with designs. We suggest getting a set with the designs.Bonus points to Full Circle for their charity program. Fill up their shipping boxes with goods for donation, print out a label, and you have a win-win: donate goods to those in need while reusing a cardboard box for another purpose.
